Toward a Comprehensive and Holistic Understanding of Science

Abstract

This presentation introduces the inaugural issue of Human@sGuajira, dedicated to honoring the life and work of Jacqueline Hurtado de Barrera and her contribution to the Holistic Understanding of Science in Ibero-America. The issue offers a historical, epistemological, methodological, and applied overview of this perspective, bringing together contributions on research types, the holopraxic method, scientific education, artificial intelligence, industrial engineering, and research feasibility, along with a biographical note and a book review.
