Abstract
As expressed in the initial motivation behind the founding of Entretextos, Journal of Intercultural Studies from Latin America and the Caribbean, of the University of La Guajira, Colombia, the journal is an inter- and transdisciplinary compendium whose purpose is to make visible reflections and research, whether ongoing and/or completed, through an intercultural hermeneutics of the forms of knowledge and ways of knowing currently being developed, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean. Throughout its trajectory, one might also say, it has advanced a planetary understanding.
