Abstract
This review presents Artificial Intelligence Applied to Education as a relevant contribution to understanding the incorporation of intelligent technologies into the education of children and young people. The book examines AI’s potential to personalize learning, strengthen student autonomy, and improve pedagogical feedback. At the same time, it addresses its ethical, political, and social implications, particularly regarding technological dependency, data privacy, and unequal access. From a Latin American perspective, the work reaffirms the central role of teachers and the importance of developing human competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, and ethics.
