Abstract
This essay reflects on the role of the flâneur in the 21st century. By walking it is possible to understand the be-here of the subject, the places he/she inhabits, the way of seeing, the aesthetization of the body and the gaze and the contemplative need that arises when the subject is able to stop. Now, we can affirm that there is a hypervision which has made the gaze fleeting. Walking, for example, routes the subject towards everything that stimulates the gaze and your senses, directing us towards buzzing honeycombs. The act of walking and seeing in times of hyper, we can name it hyperflâneur. Throughout the paper I use plastic metaphors, artistic references and concepts approached through the work of Byung-Chul Han.
