Authors who publish in Entretextos declare that they hold the rights over the submitted manuscripts and are responsible for their originality, unpublished status, and content. By accepting publication, they authorize the Revista de Estudios Interculturales desde Latinoamérica y el Caribe - Entretextos, of Universidad de La Guajira, to publish the work and transfer to the journal the economic rights necessary for its full editorial use.

This transfer authorizes Entretextos and Universidad de La Guajira, as the publisher, to carry out the editing, publication, public communication, distribution, editorial adaptation, preservation, indexing, dissemination, and making available of the work on open access platforms, repositories, indexes, databases, and academic information systems, through any known medium, with unlimited territorial scope and for the legal term of copyright protection.

The transfer of economic rights does not generate any financial compensation for the authors. Publication in the journal takes place within the framework of its open access policy and under the Creative Commons license adopted by Entretextos.

Recognition of authorship is always guaranteed. Authors retain at all times the moral rights that correspond to them over the work, especially the right to be recognized as authors of the article and the right to the intellectual integrity of the published content. Any form of circulation, citation, reuse, or dissemination of the article must respect the identification of the authors, the original source of publication, and the conditions established by the applicable license.

On Possible Updates to This Policy

The journal may review and update this policy whenever necessary, within the framework of a continuous improvement process aimed at harmonizing editorial best practices with the journal’s own institutional, academic, and disciplinary context. At all times, it will keep the current information on copyright, publication rights, and licensing publicly, clearly, and easily accessible. Each update must record the previous policy and its corresponding period of validity, in order to ensure the historical traceability of the editorial conditions applied.
