Application of information technologies and communications in small and medium-sized enterprises and its support for the gross domestic product of Colombia

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to determine the degree of application of ICT in the microenterprise sector, to measure the contribution generated to the country's gross domestic product, which will result in the quality of life of all partners and A better standard of living. It is important to emphasize that for more than fifteen years, companies in Colombia are mostly young and are in the hands of young people but do not have the technological tools ICT in them, With regard to the changes experienced, suggests that they have dedicated themselves more to the service sector without the state-of-the-art microenterprise technology, abandoning the agricultural sector that has given glory to our country with its contribution to the national GDP.
