Abstract
In the Educational Institution La Armonía the present project was carried out with students belonging to the grades 9th, 10th, and 11th, which fostered the students to create and write a paper with a research thesis format about their life project. With the support of professors of Ethics, English, Entrepreneurship, and School Counseling, interdisciplinary work was enhanced and completed. This approach encouraged the development of reflexive and research abilities, the learning of life skills, and the improvement of a foreign language (English). Additionally, the life project was approached with personal meaning, with each student proposing what he or she wants to do from his personal, family, social, academic, and occupational outlook, but emphasizing on service and transcendence, that is, how -through the life project- they can contribute humanity and its local, national, and relational context, this was addressed from the ecological model of Bronfenbrenner.
