Abstract
This conference offers a proposal to analyze the processes taking place in international cultural encounters, and to intervene. The structure of the paper is divided into 2 parts: First start with an attempt to define culture, taking into account the particularities of different cultures. Secondly it applies systems theory focused on people, to analyze and act on processes that occur in intercultural encounters. First it is defined system thinking and its goals to relate to cultural experiences, which are sometimes problematic. To realize the reflections it is analyzed the meaning of a shift towards a new social system, a situation that is experienced in times of globalization.
