This policy covers the detection and examination of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, falsification, textual manipulation, duplicate publication, and other verifiable irregularities that affect the originality, authenticity, or integrity of the manuscript. When matches, inconsistencies, or indications of misconduct are detected, the journal may request clarifications, corrections, supporting documentation, or adopt the editorial measures that correspond to the seriousness of the case.

The determination of plagiarism will always be a matter of human judgment, while the software will only serve as a tool to alert the editorial team to the possible occurrence of plagiarism.
