Abstract
In the text Palimpsests. Criticism and literary analysis in the classroom (Bogotá, Servicios Educativos del Magisterio, 2004), Fabio Jurado assumes a position that does not respond to educational policies or the traditional ways of introducing literature at school, but responds as lover of all literary genres and connoisseur of theories about language and literature. To guide his pedagogical action, a teacher who has this position regarding literary art and language sciences does not resort to educational policy, or to the teaching that has been refined in this regard; rather, he resorts to two desires: the one he has in relation to knowledge and the one he has in relation to others, with those he wants to see linked, in turn, with knowledge.
