Abstract
The objective is to analyze the dynamics of the armed conflict in La Guajira and its humanitarian impact and to trace a transition of the economic model that has been operating in the last 45 years in the department of La Guajira. It reviews the presence and action of armed groups in La Guajira, then analyzes how to take advantage of the privileged geographical position that has this territory with 670 km of coast facing the Caribbean sea, which is equivalent to a corporate advantage that facilitates its tourism development. The methodology from an ethnographical and autoethnographical approach reveals the role of culture, its traditions, meaning, worldviews, feelings, relies on participant observation, group conversations, in the search for answers to questions that have hindered endogenous development, The impact that is expected to generate in knowledge and knowledge contextualized and located from the territory that contribute to the formulation of regional public policies and the foundation of educational curricula, finally we hope to resolve questions such as: Is there a possibility of a stable and lasting peace in Colombia? Is it possible to live in peace? , if conflicts will always be present, how will they be resolved?
